Open Banking data is your financial information, like account balances and transactions, that you share securely with trusted third parties. For example, directly with a lender during a credit application.
Open Banking data helps lenders understand your spending and income so they can make faster, fairer decisions. The data is only used for the purpose you agreed to and kept only as long as needed.

Should you submit a complaint, we will respond with a written acknowledgement within 48 hours. We will aim to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible, but no later than 8 weeks.
Should you be unsatisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you can escalate it to the Financial Conduct Authority.

You have the right under UK GDPR (Article 15) and the Data Protection Act 2018 to access the personal data an organisation holds about you. To make a subject access request to Noggin HQ, please complete the Subject Access Request form.
Yes, under UK GDPR (Article 17) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, often called the “right to be forgotten.”
You can ask Noggin HQ to delete your data. If it’s no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, if you withdraw consent, or if it has been processed unlawfully, we will consider your request and, if there’s no legal or regulatory reason to keep the data, delete it. Some exceptions apply, for example if they need to keep the data to comply with financial, legal, or tax obligations.
If the request is refused or not handled properly, you can escalate to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
We have been contracted by our lending partners to provide a credit score (which is an assessment of your creditworthiness) from your bank transaction information. You will have consented to this during your credit application process, when opting into sharing Open Banking data to support the lender’s risk assessment.
We receive the information from the lender and use the bank account information to generate your credit score. This information we share with lending partners, who will consider your Noggin HQ credit score as part of their credit assessment.
Noggin HQ only collects information with your consent or from public sources when permitted by law. Further details about how we gather, use, and share personal data are available in the Noggin HQ Information Notice, which you can view by visiting our privacy policy page.
You have the right to correct information we hold about you, under Section 159 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and the Data Protection Act 2018. You also have the right to request we remove any information we hold about you if you believe it is inaccurate and could cause harm.
